The Dispossessed

A Wrinkle in Time - L'Engle
Tuck Everlasting - Babbit
Stardust - Gaiman (also a film)

It was amazing to me how many subjects were covered in this book: socialism, sexuality, work, religion, etc.

Why did LeGuin create two story lines of the same character (past and present) and alternate them, rather than giving the story in chronological order?
